After two years in the making, Abe's ukulele instructional book is finally available for purchase! Jazz Ukulele: Comping, Soloing, Chord Melodies is published by Hal Leonard and is a Berklee Press publication, the only publisher of music instruction books based on the renowned Berklee College of Music teaching methods and curriculum. Abe attended Berklee as a drum set principal studying Music Education and jazz, yet it was there where he started playing the ukulele, learning and jamming on a borrowed ukulele from friend and colleague Randy Wong.

Abe just returned from a two week tour in Asia as a headlining artist for the 2nd Philippine Ukulele Festival and the 4th Thailand Ukulele Festival. The Philippine Ukulele Festival concerts took place at the Gateway Mall in Quezon City and at the Hard Rock Cafe in Makati, while the Thailand Ukulele Festival took place over two days outside the Central World Shopping Mall in Bangkok. Special thanks to Asada Atornphatai and everyone at Team Ribbee, and Leon and Cat Lagrama and everyone at Ukulele Philippines for making it all possible.
